Malcolm Thorp

Malcolm founded Thorp & Partners in early 2010, having previously been with The Curzon Partnership, where he spent fifteen years leading the firm's technology and outsourced services practice. Whilst there, he also spent a significant period leading the technology practice globally for the world's largest network of independent search firms.

Following an engineering degree read at Southampton University, Malcolm spent eight years in international technology manufacturing: he moved into the recruitment industry over twenty years ago. Initially working at Michael Page, he soon progressed into senior level executive recruitment by joining a Norman, Broadbent business where he led the growth of their technology practice. Along with three other Directors, he left to co-found Curzon in 1996.

Outside of work, he pursues his passion for real tennis by managing the Brigands Real Tennis Club; he also enjoys sailing, diving and motorcycling.
